In addition to <a href="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/news/show/93971/1ghz-snapdragon-based-acer-f1-demoed-at-computex.html" target="_blank">Acer's</a> <a href="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/news/show/93972/acer-s-entry-level-l1-and-c1-due-in-q4-2009.html" target="_blank">offerings</a>, other manufacturers have banded together to show off their <a href="http://www.eprice.com.tw/mobile/talk/?prod_id=102&amp;tid=4140821" target="_blank">new and upcoming devices</a> (<a href="http://translate.google.com/translate?prev=hp&amp;hl=en&amp;js=n&amp;u=http://www.eprice.com.tw/mobile/talk/?prod_id=102&tid=4140821&amp;sl=zh-CN&amp;tl=en&amp;history_state0=" target="_blank">translated version</a>). First on the list is Gigabyte with its GSmart S1200, which is set to hit shelves this month. It features a Qualcomm 7200A 528MHz processor, 288MB RAM, 512MB ROM, a 3.1", 480 x 800 touch screen, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA connectivity, GPS, a 3.0-megapixel camera, Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, and a fresh UI dubbed Smart Vision. A Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade is in the pipeline. Gigabyte also has an 8.0-megapixel successor scheduled for release in the second half of the year.</p>
