After all of the boxee nastiness, I'm a bit surprised by the development. That doesn't mean this isn't still exciting."</em></p><p><em><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1243568483.usr105634.jpg" style="border: 1px solid #d2d2bb;" /></em></p><p>I just downloaded this on my MBP, and I must say it works great! Love the clean interface and it is very responsive. You do have to manually turn off any screen savers, but the Apple Remote works perfectly with it. Hulu has a version for <a href="http://www.hulu.com/labs/hulu-desktop" target="_blank">Windows</a> and one for <a href="http://www.hulu.com/labs/hulu-desktop" target="_blank">Macs</a>, so either way you are covered. I don't use Hulu a lot, typically for a few shows like Parks and Recreation or Fight Girls, shows that I can't get on my DVR for various reasons. &nbsp; Now when I use it, the viewing experience is going to be so much nicer.&nbsp;</p>

Funny - I checked this yesterday and they had minimum requirements set to Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz CPU, so I didn't bother. I notice now that it is Core Duo, 2.0 GHz. That's more reasonable.

Yeah... I think a Core Duo should be able to handle it just fine as long as your internet connection is fast enough.

I have to say I watched an episode of The Simpsons just to try it out and I was blown away by the quality. I'm thinking a Mac Mini with this and Netflix Instant on it would be an AWESOME home theater device. :D
