When you consider the possibilities offered by an e-ink display the three models offered so far are a tad disappointing, especially as they seem to be hardwired instead of letting the user customize the face like the old Microsoft watches.
Still, its a start, no?
The technology offers oled thin-ness with paper clarity at very low power consumption and, as shown here, can be applied to curved (non-glass) surfaces which makes it both light and rugged.
They just need to get creative on the packaging and display side.
