Phew! I can't even keep up on one service much less seven. Although the price is a little steep, I'm thinking there's a lot of value in having one app handle all your messaging needs, rather than multiple services (and clients) taking valuable processor and RAM cycles on your device. You can download a trial, or purchase IM+ for $39.95 through our affiliate link.

Yeah, it's a great value if you "forget" that there are alternatives.

Palringo, the free IM client offers:
Windows Live Messenger ® (MSN)
AOL ® Instant Messenger (AIM)
Yahoo! ® Messenger
Google Talk ™
ICQ ®
Jabber ®
iChat® / MobileMe ®
QQ ®
Gadu-Gadu ®
Facebook Chat (Alpha)
Also, it has a really cool walkie-talkie like voice-messages and a really quick picture functions.

And how about Beejive IM with it's glorious interface. It's currently in free beta, but is going to be something like $19.95. Which is half the price.
AIM®
iChat®
MobileMe®,
MSN®
Windows Live®,
Yahoo!®,
MySpace,
GoogleTalk®,
ICQ®,
Jabber.

What about fring? The free messenger/calling software?
Skype®,
MSN Messenger®,
Google Talk™,
ICQ,
SIP,
Twitter,
Yahoo!™
AIM®
It's the least attractive, but hey... You can call with it!

One thing to remember about IM+ though, is that the steep initial price gets you unlimited upgrades to future versions. This is awesome, compared to other programs that require you to upgrade for a fee when moving from one major revision to another.

Actually, I really like Palringo and it doesn't charge me any money for any upgrades. All upgrades are free for life.
That's because the whole app is free.

I think IM+ is nice but their whole pricing strategy has been awful. It just is too expensive for a multi-messenger client, specially with the likes of Mundu, Beejive and Palringo after them.
