ID theft/fraud in general these days is rampant, so this is just one more example of how it is spreading. A Fox affiliate in New York posted a <a href="http://www2.myfoxny.com/dpp/your_money/consumer/090518_Scammers_iTunes_Bank_Accounts" target="_blank">story</a> about this topic, with several examples of customers being duped and frustrated at the lack of help they are getting from Paypal and from Apple. Bottom line is these days you have to watch over your financial information like a hawk so you don't end up in one of these stories. </p>
