Cameras in the Next iPods?

After all, since the device already holds a veritable tome of information, why not make it able to capture images on-the-fly?"</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1242645006.usr18053.jpg" /></p><p>On one hand, I can't think of a good reason to have cameras on an MP3 player, but on the other hand I also live by the axiom that the best camera on the market is the one you carry with you.&nbsp; Seeing as a lot of people are perpetually plugged into their iPhone, this would put a camera within reach at all times.</p><p>Not the greatest of ideas, but not a terrible one either.&nbsp; Your thoughts?</p>

I'll believe it when I see them. I guess that I think it unlikely that Apple can find technology that is not too costly and still tiny enough to keep from making the iPod or Nano any bigger than they already are. Making a bigger Nano, or reducing margins to razor thin ones, doesn't seem to be the Apple way.

But, what do I know? I'm just getting to the point that I'd rather not guess what's coming and instead react to what's delivered, rather than expect more and end up disappointed with the reality when it comes.

Like doogald, when it comes to Apple rumors, I believe it when I see it. I've heard of all kinds of rumors surrounding upcoming WWDC announcements. We'll see when Apple actually makes the announcements.

I highly doubt that this will happen because if someone wants a camera and listen to music he can get an Iphone.
