No, of course not - which is why the buttons vanish when you stop interacting with them. Slick! I like the fact that the frames are quite thin. I'm less convinced by the 16:10 aspect ratio - unless you want a video frame, why would you want to have your 4:3 images zoomed/cropped to 16:10? This seems like a real miss to me with this product...</p>

To make things messier, your 35mm or APS-C sensor size DSLR takes 3:2 pictures.

Samsung's latest photoframes, while not as thin, also feature the disappearing touch-sensitive buttons. The cooler part is that they also feature UbiSync, allowing them to be used as a small secondary monitor.

Edit: I need to add that if you're using a camera that takes 4:3 photos and want one of these frames, get one that's 8". As of this time, the 8" versions use an 800x600 screen.

That was the aspect ratio I was trying to recall but couldn't...I set my Panasonic P&S camera to shoot in 3:2 so my photos with it would have the same aspect ratio as my DSLR photos, but the battery it in was dead (which is strange) so I couldn't bring up the menu that told me the aspect ratios. :o
