Maybe you were at a coffee shop or on an airplane and needed two free hands, or maybe you're simply an enthusiastic thumb twiddler. Either way, a company called Seskimo was reading your mind, but just this once, it's okay."</em></p><p><em><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1241133989.usr105634.jpg" /></em></p><p>I have never, to be honest, needed anything like this but I thought it was an interesting device, especially since I've seen some workarounds made out of paperclips. If someone was going to all that trouble to make one out of paperclips, this might be something they would find useful. It comes in a variety of colors and is very compact, so perhaps the price of $5.00 USD is worth it, especially if you are going through boxes of paperclips to enhance your viewing pleasure.</p><p>And if this one doesn't suit you, there is always the <a href="http://www.MyiZel.com/" target="_blank">iZel</a>, but that one will set you back $25.00 USD.</p><p><em></em></p>

Stealing off this design...which basically steals from a simple table easle, I made one out of corrugated Cardboard. If anyone wants a cheap(er) version here is a PDF that you can glue and cut out of a cardboard material.

If memory serves (never a sure thing at my age :) ), the 1st Gen iPod Touch did come with such a stand. It was a clear piece of plastic, which if didn't read the slip of paper in the box, you'd never figure out what it was for. I think I still have it around here somewhere.
