When news of the i8910 first came out, the Omnia HD moniker led many to believe (including us) that it would run Windows Mobile. That it would run on Symbian instead was a blow, considering the specs (720p video recording and playback, 8MP AF camera). Would this mean that the Omnia brand will continue to be extended? One can hope.</p>

The Omnia is such a great WinMo phone I never understood the need to change it into Symbian.

I am using an Omnia for a week now and I love it (http://mobilespoon.blogspot.com/2009/04/samsung-omnia-thoughts-week-1.html). No Symbian for me... :o
