What follows are the products that made the most difference in our lives during a month of testing."</em></p><p>I've put a lot of work into going green over the last few years and I've got to say, some of the items in this article are pretty weak.&nbsp; I mean come on, calling a heated, USB powered mouse green because it will keep your hand warm without pushing up the heat is really pushing it.&nbsp; I've reviewed <a href="http://www.digitalhomethoughts.com/news/show/31207/smart-power-strips.html" target="_blank">Smart Power Strips</a> and <a href="http://www.digitalhomethoughts.com/news/show/90187/bye-bye-standby.html" target="_blank">Bye Bye Standby</a> here on this site and continue to use them to this day.&nbsp; We use compact fluorescent light fixtures and have started to switch out to LED bulbs.&nbsp; Almost all our laundry is air dried.&nbsp; We compost and recycle to the extent that we only need to have our trash picked up about once a month.&nbsp; We've even got rain barrels.&nbsp; So please, share some of your eco-tips here, whether they are tech based or not.</p>
