On the heels of the iPhone 3.0 announcement comes this announcement from AT&T that you will be able to buy an iPhone with no two-year commitment. You still can't get out of the data plan or the activation fee, and you will only be able to buy one iPhone per the details released today. The cool thing is you will be able to either activate at the store or take it home and do it via iTunes, same procedure that was used when the iPhone was first announced a couple years ago. It is unknown if this deal will also be available from any of the Apple stores.
