XROADS G-Map ($19) is clearly the best real-time navigation option for an iPhone right now, but we ran it through the same tests we would a stand-alone TomTom, Garmin or Mio system to see how it fared with the big boys of navigation."</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1236688571.usr18053.jpeg" style="border: 1px solid #d2d2bb;" /></p><p>I guess if you don't want to shell out for a standalone unit, the iPhone is a pretty good substitute with XROADS G-Map installed.&nbsp; Me?&nbsp; I still prefer my N&uuml;vi, and for a feature that, to me, is indispensible.&nbsp; Voice navigation.&nbsp; When you don't have to constantly look down at the screen, you're a safer driver.&nbsp; Other than that, though, for most people this isn't a bad value.</p>
