Now, however, there&rsquo;s a simple little jailbreak app that takes a least some of the pain out of using the soft keyboard by adding a 5th row, giving users access to numbers without requiring navigation to a sub-menu. Access to symbols is easier, too &mdash; just hit the &ldquo;shift&rdquo; key and the numbers turn to symbols."</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1235649897.usr18053.jpeg" style="border: 1px solid #d2d2bb;" /></p><p>I would love to have one more row of keys for typing numbers without having to switch to the numeric keyboard, but I'm not about to jailbreak my phone just to get it.&nbsp; A lot of others, however, would disagree with me and this seems to be one of those things that really has elevated the experience of the iPhone for some people.&nbsp; The obvious problem with another row of keys being added in nearly the same amount of space is that you're cramming way more keys in vertically.&nbsp; That oughta really sit well with people who hated the typing experience to begin with!</p>

I'd love it if my iPhone had the numbers on the main keyboard, but I'm with you, I'm not going to jailbreak my iPhone to get it.

I can't imagine anything that would push me to jailbreak my phone. I can't think of anything compelling enough to make me want to do it. I wonder what it would take...

The ability to run Windows Mobile in emulation? ;)

I actually think webOS in emulation would do the trick. ;)

Jailbroke my phone twice and reverted back both times. No matter what I do or install...it's always buggy and crashes alot on things that it shouldnt crash on. Doesnt add that much for me....though IntelliScreen is a nice addition! (Lock screen add on information)
