I'd bet it will be free during the testing phase, but the airlines will eventually charge for it. <a href="http://www.jetblue.com/" target="_blank">Jet Blue</a>, <a href="http://www.virginamerica.com/va/home.do" target="_blank">Virgin Airlines</a> and<a href="http://www.southwest.com/" target="_blank"> Southwest</a> are the only airlines planning on testing Wi-Fi on their airplanes, which will start near the end of the year. I don't fly that much any more, and when I do most of my flights are short ones, 2 or 3 hours at the most. Even on the short flights though, it would be nice to have this option. We'll see how they set up the pricing structure, if it is anything like they have done with the inflight phone calls, you can bet I'll be passing on the Wi-Fi! Besides, I can always just watch a movie. </p>
