The evolution of a Home Thater Set up. Just saw the 4 years ago pic. That is a pretty slick upgrade. My systemeven though HD'ed, 360'ed, 5.1'ed out is very dated.

Holding off on the Theater upgrade due to the age and tolerance of my neighbors. Newer tube to come once I sell me old one and get a "bonus". If that will happen. Times are hard but tech. will still prosper.

Sadly couldn't post a pic of my chrappy but lovin' it system:rolleyes:

Mine's a little more girlfriend-friendly... ;)

Samsung 26" 720P/1080i LCD TV
Denon AVR-1906 AV Receiver
Denon DVD-1740 DVD player
Tvonics DVR-250 digital Freeview recorder
Xbox 360 Premium
Soundstyle WG4 HiFi Stand
Mordaunt-Short Genie 5.1 AV speakers (only the sub and centre speaker shown in the photo)
Nintendo Wii (someone had borrowed it when this was taken)

Mine is also wife-friendly.

What you see is a Sony KDL-32S300 TV with an aging Mac Mini connected. The Mac Mini is stacked on top of an Iomega 320GB MiniMax harddrive and connected to a Bose Companion 5 speaker set.

Under the TV you see the digital TV decoder from Get. It's also connected to the Bose Companion 5.

This is my setup for larger gatherings...parties & football. 50" Samsung:

For movies & video games I have a theater room downstairs. A little cozier with some decent surround sound. When I'm finally done decorating I intend to have quite a few more wallscrolls :) That's a 51" Sony.

Gotta support my alma mater ;) Though I plan to kinda consolidate everything into a single room at some point. Probably in my 'office'

I want to hear one more time how special Tebow is . . .

Tebow is a fine young man who deserves all of the accolades heaped upon him. He does good things for people and is exactly the type of role model people should look up to. We should consider ourselves lucky that an athlete wants to use his platform to send a positive message and lives up to it. Not sure how anyone could be tired of hearing about something positive.

Since that was mostly meant as competitive fan banter (if you recall I'm from the University of Illinois), I'll just leave this at that.

The eye-rolling smiley is generally considered to be a bit insulting - kind of like rolling your eyes at someone in person. It's just not a polite thing to do, in person or online.

I agree. I assumed (incorrectly) that he remembered our Illinois versus Florida banter awhile back. Apologies to both.

No worries. My own assumptions often get me into trouble as well. :D
