View Full Version : Win a [Nearly] New White Zune

Jason Dunn
05-17-2007, 05:00 PM
Ok, so here's the deal: remember my dusty white Zune? I sent it back to a great contact I have at Microsoft on the Zune team, because he wanted to see it (it seems I'm one of the few people that got a dusty Zune), and he sent me a replacement white Zune. When my Zune arrived at Zune HQ, apparently an engineer cracked it open and cleaned out all the dust - and my contact offered to send it back to me. So now that means I have an &quot;extra&quot; Zune (I still have the black one that's dysfunctional), and you know what that means...giveaway! We want to spread the Zune love here at Zune Thoughts, so whether you already have a Zune and want to give this to someone else, or you're lacking in the Zune-owning department, enter in our little contest.<br /><br /><img border="1" alt="" src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/zt/2007/white-zune-giveaway-may16.jpg" /><br /><br />How do you win? Simple: <strong><a target="_blank" href="http://forums.thoughtsmedia.com/register.php">register in our forums</a> </strong>and <strong>post a message in this thread telling me one song or band that you're enjoying right now</strong>. Seven days from now (on the 24th of May) at noon I'll do a random drawing, and one person will win the Zune. I'll ship it anywhere in the world, and I'll include a Zune Thoughts micro light as well. One entry per person allowed, all decisions final, and the winner has 14 days to claim their prize or I'll pick someone else.<br /><br />And in case you're wondering, the Zune is in pristine condition - no scratches, nicks, dents, or anything else. The Zune box on the other hand, looks like it's been through a war. But it's not like you're going to carry it around with you, right? Exactly.<br /><br /><strong>UPDATE:</strong> Oh, and I should add that if you don't see your post appear right away, it's because it's your first post and I need to approve it. Hang tight and don't re-post right away.

With Zune market place, I discovered Rick Wakeman's solo albums, and this song is the best I'm listening at the time being.

05-17-2007, 05:33 PM
It's a part of the new Live Passion cd. Jason, thanks for considering me.

I'm listening to the new Holly Cole CD that I just imported from Canada and ripped, because she is not distributed in the US. Right now I've got "The House is Haunted by the Echo of Your Last Goodbye" playing.

05-17-2007, 05:36 PM
I've been listening to Bloc Party lately

05-17-2007, 05:44 PM
I can't get enough of Emilie Autumn these days! Her new CD, Laced/Unlaced came to me from the UK in a really nice package that looks more like a book than a CD.

I've been listening to a lot of mashups as of late, and working on my own, so I'm listening to Seal's Kiss From a Rose a good deal.

05-17-2007, 05:54 PM
I'm listening to the Xanadu movie soundtrack! Can't get enough of it! Need more!

05-17-2007, 06:02 PM
Even though I've had my Zune since last December I hadn't activated my 14-day trial until 2 weeks ago when I felt I had enough free time to make good use of it. I've been having a ball and just activated the monthly subscription pass yesterday as it was the last day on my 14-day trial.

I haven't checked out any new bands lately as I've been traveling down memory lane. So right now my Zune is playing all of the Moody Blues albums I listened to in high school. My favorite of them is still "On The Threshold of a Dream" and on it I like "Have You Heard".

Since I obviously already own a Zune, if I win this one it will go to my wife who I've been trying to convince she needed a DAP. Having her cruise through the Zune marketplace during our trial period, I think I've just about convinced her as she didn't hesitate when I said I wanted to sign up for the monthly pass. :D

Hi there, I would really love to win the zune as my current mp3 player seems to be on it's way out.
I love so many different types of music that I have a new favourite band each week but right now I am hooked on a little known artist by the name of Ulrich Schnauss and the track "Clear Day" from the album "A Strangely Isolated Place". There's something really beautiful about it but I can't put my finger on it. There is a video on youtube with it playing in the background while a guy is cycling all over the place but the sound quality is awful and doesn't do the song justice, here it is
I also think the zune pass subscription would really satisfy my constant desire for finding new music.:)

05-17-2007, 06:16 PM
I'm currently enjoying Coil's Stolen and Contaminated Songs (http://thresholdhouse.greedbag.com/release/%7Estolen-and-contaminated-songs-0/).

05-17-2007, 06:45 PM
I've been listening to the o so amazing 'Battles'. They're a little strange but give it a few listens and you'll love it!! There album got a 9.1/10 on pitchforkmedia.com and there single 'Atlas' is bloomin' amazing!

Video for 'Atlas' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpGp-22t0lU)

*implodes into musical bliss*

05-17-2007, 06:48 PM
My eclectic taste has me listening to the Transformers Movie (original) sound track, Nickleback, Icehouse, Billy Idol, much more 80's music, and my favorite Cannon in D.

I know I'm not eligible to enter because I'm rocking the Smartphone Thoughts world but I still wanted to share some artist that I'm listening to right now.

Both of these artists are local Portland, Oregon artists and they're both just incredible. One of them even has both of their albums on Zune Marketplace!

They are the The Freemartins and Russell Stafford. If you search the Marketplace for The Freemartins you can view/purchase both of their albums (The Prime Directive Is The Groove and Scientifically Engineered To Rock). As for Russell, he isn't on the marketplace yet but is trying to sign a deal to be distributed on iTunes, Marketplace and other digital music venues.

If you would like to hear Russell Stafford's music, you can do that on his site (http://russellstaffordmusic.com/music.html). After sitting down and talking with Russell yesterday and telling him about my Zune, he got super excited about people being able to beam his tracks to their friends and encouraged me to have people download his tracks from his site. :)

Personally, I see the Zune doing greater things for independent artists than the Internet ever could and I'm glad artist like Russell are embracing this new technology and encouraging people to download and beam his music to their friends.

05-17-2007, 06:53 PM
Amy Winehouse! It's hard to believe such a deep, soulful voice could from this skinny little British thing. :)

With spring coming around for Northeast USA, I can finally drive with the car windows down. I've been driving home from work with Nickelback's album "All the Right Reasons". The songs are so summertime rock for me.

I'm sure it would sound much better on a Zune than my old 6GB Zen!

Thanks for offering the contests Jason!

05-17-2007, 07:20 PM
I am enjoying "Moonlight" from Kamelot right now. This is a band I discovered on the marketplace.

Kevin Jackson
05-17-2007, 07:23 PM
I am listening to Sovereign Grace Music (http://www.sovereigngraceministries.org/music/) a lot lately. My church sings a lot of their songs. Very good combination of modern and traditional.

05-17-2007, 07:41 PM
I've been really digging the new Feist album a lot. Great followup to her last LP.

05-17-2007, 07:55 PM
Vladislav Delay -- The First Quarter

Simply beautiful.

05-17-2007, 08:02 PM
Snow Patrol, Open Your Eyes. Has a great video too...

05-17-2007, 08:22 PM
"Long Black Viel" by The Chieftains with Mick Jagger. OK so it's not new and cutting edge but neither am I.

05-17-2007, 08:25 PM
I've been listening to various songs by Ratatat over the past few weeks, along with my usual staple of Paul Van Dyk and friends.

05-17-2007, 08:34 PM
Getting into the new Linkin Park

05-17-2007, 08:49 PM
In my house, we can't get enough of the "Avenue Q" sountrack.

05-17-2007, 09:27 PM
Stick to some 80's. Huey Lewis and the News (or Huey Lewis & the News) - depends on which album from the internet!

Honkey Tonk Blues:cool:

05-17-2007, 09:40 PM
I'm currently enjoying Snow Patrol a lot. My wife and I recently went to see them in concert and it was quite a treat. I thought they might be a little too introspective for a concert, but I was wrong. Change introspective to emotionaly charged and you would have an apt discription.

Now of couse my wife is jelous of my zune and wants to enjoy Snow Patrol on her very own.

05-17-2007, 09:59 PM
my favorite artist right now is Kanye and my fav song (though a little old) is "Two Words"

05-17-2007, 10:12 PM
I'm into the new Linkin Park.
I am ready to pull the trigger on ditching my ipods and buying a couple Zunes. Unfortunately, my wife won't be able to handle the 'less than user friendly' steps to get podcasts onto the player. Hopefully we'll see the new zunes and new features soon.

05-17-2007, 10:25 PM
I've been on the look out for new music lately and have found some decent bands that I hadn't really listened to before. Cursive is a new favorite band.

I have really been enjoying Rocky Votolato recently. The "Automatic Rifle", "Prison is Private Property" and "Montana" tracks from the album "Suicide Medicine" are all great songs. I've been meaning to check out some of his newer stuff also.

05-17-2007, 10:30 PM
I have been listening to Building 429. The new style on their newest album, Iris to Iris, is great.

05-17-2007, 10:38 PM
my recent obsession is the live recording of Tank! by Yoko Anno and The Seatbelts from the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack.

Incredible song if you're into jazz. Even if you aren't, it's a great song.

05-17-2007, 10:41 PM
I have been listing to The Clarks. They are an awesome Pittsburgh band, and their music always picks me and gets me going.

Believe it or not, I'm MP3-less, and I've been admiring the Zune for sometime. I'm pretty excited about the thought of a flash Zune, which will be great for the gym and easier on the pocketbook...:)

Caí Na Real by Só Pra Contrariar.....

05-17-2007, 11:17 PM
I've been spending a ton of time listening to a band called Miracle Fortress - they have an album called Five Roses that's coming out next Tuesday, and it has this Beach Boys-ish thing going on that's absolutely amazing. My current favorite song off the album is "Have You Seen In Your Dreams" and I highly recommend checking it out.

05-17-2007, 11:24 PM

-Mastaglach820 (Matt)

What do you mean by a "Dusty Zune"? Does it have dust on the inside, like between the screen and the screen cover? Cause I think my buddy may have that same issue.

05-18-2007, 01:03 AM
I've been listening to KREVA lately.

05-18-2007, 01:21 AM
I just got done listening to some old Black Sabbath....

05-18-2007, 01:46 AM
I picked my Zune up on launch day and have been enjoying it and the Zune pass ever since. The Zune pass has allowed me to discover lots of great music. Lately, I've been listening to Imogen Heap. I love the music and might have missed out on it had it not been for the Zune pass. I think it's time I share this experience with my wife.

05-18-2007, 01:57 AM
I've been enjoying tons of Jackson Rohm right now.

Hopefully I win the Zune, I want it very badly.

05-18-2007, 02:11 AM
I can't stop listening to Calle 13's new album, they are definitely one of the hottest Latino bands out there. They are a Reggaeton group but they are different than everyone else. Their lyrics and fusion of beats are great and I recommend them to anyone.

for more information:

Good luck everyone. =D

05-18-2007, 02:24 AM
Just checking out Royal Wood (http://www.royalwood.ca/) who was profiled on the CBC earlier this week. I really like that song 'Juliet.'

And I just found out that he made the 'What's Hot' section on iTunes this week (both in Canada and the US, according to his web site).

05-18-2007, 02:31 AM
I'm enjoying This is Why I Rock by MIMS featuring Purple Popcorn. I heard it in the Zune commercial and I totally love it, so I had to download it!

05-18-2007, 02:34 AM
NINE INCH NAILS ! Currently enjoying the song HYPERPOWER!!

John Caboose
05-18-2007, 02:34 AM
Wooho! I hope I win this Zune Contest, I'm in need of a Portable Video Player since my cellphone doesn't really cut it in that department! ;)
So anyways the song I'm enjoying right now has to be What Goes Around by Justin Timberlake, since well, it's the song playing right now! Haha

05-18-2007, 02:51 AM
I'm currently listening and enjoying 'Where Ever We Go' by the Newsboys (http://www.newsboys.com/) from the Go album.

05-18-2007, 02:57 AM
It's not really a new song or a very popular one, but I'm enjoying "Pirates" by Bullets and Octane. It's pretty catchy, I must say!

05-18-2007, 03:38 AM
I'm always catching myself listening to The All-American Rejects and Binocular :)

Yay! :D We International users are qualified! Thanks ZuneThoughts!!

05-18-2007, 03:43 AM
My favorite band right now is The National and they have a new album coming out next Tuesday. How great would it be to listen to the new The National album on a new Zune (well new to me)? I encourage everyone to check out this band. I just found out too that some of their songs were used in recent Saturn commercials, that being said, they are still really cool.

05-18-2007, 03:44 AM
Listening to my collection of 80's music. David Bowie at the moment.

05-18-2007, 04:03 AM
I have been enjoying the music of Weird Al lately, of course, I have been enjoying his music since 1983.

05-18-2007, 04:12 AM
Recently I've really gotten into Cold War Kids.

Especially their song Hospital Beds, its considered a B song, not a hit but i still think its awesome.

05-18-2007, 04:25 AM
"Perfect Situation" by Weezer has been running through my head almost nonstop for two days... for some reason I seem to REALLY like its music video. I don't really know why.

Jason Mraz and Linkin Park's new Minutes to Midnight album are also finding a lot of time in my rotation, the latter of which has starting growing on me more and more with every listen.

05-18-2007, 04:28 AM
Right now im really enjoying the new linkin park album minutes to midnite. My favorite song out of that is What I've done. Everyone should check them out and download it on ZUNE marketplace or somthing! You won't be dissapointed.

05-18-2007, 04:32 AM
I have been listening to Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band. Great experimental musician.

05-18-2007, 04:39 AM
I'm listening to the new RUSH Snakes & Arrows CD! I'd love to win a Zune!:D

05-18-2007, 04:46 AM
I'm currently listening to The New Deal. They're a Canadian "live electronic" band that plays breakbeat, downtempo, and techno with real instruments (probably the hardest-working drummer you'll ever see).

The album you want to start with is Gone Gone Gone. It represents most of their styles, and has some very juicy guest vocals -- Feist is on one track!

05-18-2007, 04:47 AM
The band I'm listening to is COLD. They arent new, they actually broke up:( , but they always made me think there's more to life, and to never give up faith... even when Im at my lowest like these past few weeks.

I miss them... But they make me smile.:) No matter what.

05-18-2007, 05:09 AM
SO of course I being a big fan of Linkin Park's music I am listening to "Minutes To Midnight". Sorry to sell out to the big players but I am open to indy's too. And yeah I could use a "Zune" because I am using my cell phone for music right now.

05-18-2007, 05:12 AM
Zune Thoughts - Thank you for the wonderful opportunity to win a Zune. One song/band I'm currently enjoying right now is "Young Folks" but Peter Bjorn & John. Very very good.

05-18-2007, 05:37 AM
I can't get enough of listening to the Shins latest album - Wincing the Night Away.

05-18-2007, 05:48 AM
At the moment, I'm transfixed on Army of Me's Better Run. Love the track.

For further recommendations: http://www.last.fm/user/Archeantus/

05-18-2007, 09:12 AM
oh MAN, i want that white zune! i'm listening right now to john doe - i preordered his new cd "a year in the wilderness" and got 3 bonus tracks to download, and the song that i like the best is the acoustic version of "golden state". john doe was the bass player/singer of x if y'all don't know :) he's SO cool.

05-18-2007, 09:44 AM
That's easy - it would have to be Pink Floyd's album Pulse. Its a live album that everyone should carry around on them at all times. Purists of the Floyd would have you believe its not a great album because Syd Barrett had departed, but it sure works for me.

-- Dave

05-18-2007, 11:03 AM
I'm really enjoying Marron5's "Makes Me Wonder". Would enjoy it more on a Zune ;) Thanks guys.

05-18-2007, 11:04 AM
Please, please, please can I win? I'm in the Zuneless UK and I want one. :)

At the moment I'm digging Maxïmo Park (www.myspace.com/maximopark). My favourite song is probably Apply Some Pressure off their first album.

Killer Turtle
05-18-2007, 11:07 AM
The song I am listening to right now, is 'Little Pearl and Lily's Lullaby', by Time McGraw. My wife is expecting our second daughter in the next couple weeks, and we just happened to choose the name Lily for her, cause that was my wife's grandmothers name. I hope I make it back in time for her Birth, in S. Korea right now.

05-18-2007, 12:15 PM
Right now I am actually listening to a bunch of techno remixes of classical music. I have no idea who the artists is, but its really good.

05-18-2007, 12:52 PM
Kung Fu Hustle Soundtrack

05-18-2007, 01:53 PM
I've been in a oldies but goodies mood lately, right now I'm listening to Boston

05-18-2007, 02:19 PM
I'm currently re-discovering rock with KT Tunstall. I just wish that alternative rock artists would be easier to find through Last.fm and other sites.

It would be nice to win, since Europe doesn't hasn't been able to "Join the Social" just yet... ;)

05-18-2007, 02:47 PM
Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank - Fire It Up
Only the best band on the sea! :D

05-18-2007, 03:28 PM
When I was in high school back in the early nineties, one of my favorites to listen to was Beck. Recently I rediscovered Beck through his album, Sea Change. One of my favorite songs from that album is:

Artist: Beck
Album: Sea Change
Song: Lost Cause

Great stuff. Thanks - and please choose me!!

05-18-2007, 03:35 PM
Younha - Password 486

Born in 1988, she has a beautiful voice! Not only that, but a crazy pianist.

Would be awesome if I was chosen! ;)

My brother-in-law is huge into music. He does merch for a local Seattle band. He hooked me up with a bunch of artists when I first got my Zune. Currently the one that gets the most play is As Tall as Lions. I was surprised when I came across them, since he has such different tastes in music than I do.

05-18-2007, 04:14 PM
I'm listening to Bruce ****burn "Life Short Call Now" his latest.

05-18-2007, 04:38 PM
I'm really loving the track titled "Battle of One" from "30 Seconds from Mars." It's on the "Beautiful Lie" album. The track has a killer beat that I just can't get enough of.

05-18-2007, 04:50 PM
I've got a HUGE growing list of songs I'd want to get if i ever owned an mp3 player, but if I won a Zune the first two songs i'd put on it is David Gray's TELL ME SOMETHING and Dylan's THINGS HAVE CHANGED. I can't hear either of them enough right now.

05-18-2007, 04:57 PM
I've been listening to a lot of Muse from their Absolution cd. :D

05-18-2007, 04:59 PM

they sucks...if you know something about reggae in general. the Panamanian (I'm one) were the ones first with the best productions of spanish reggae. Ask El General, Nando Boom, Chichoman, and others panamanian reggae singers.

The new blood is good too. With singers as Match & Daddy, Comando Tiburón, La Factoria, Aldo Ranks, Danger Man and many others.

i'm afro antillian and I know that panamanian reggae represent more the reggae genre than anything from Puerto Rico.

05-18-2007, 08:06 PM
I'm listening to the Zune artist of the week Linkin Park and their new album Minutes to Midnight :D

05-18-2007, 08:37 PM
I'm listening to Eric Clapton's Crossroads. Hard to get better than that...although it would sound better on a Zune!

05-18-2007, 09:43 PM
I've been waiting for a new group called Midnight Hour to release their CD but until then the New Linkin Park will do.

05-18-2007, 10:31 PM

Went to see The Lemonheads yesterday night here in Utrecht (Netherlands). Excellent concert, very impressed. So now I've dug up my Lemonheads CD's, ripped them and put them on my Zune. Will go out and get the new album tomorrow. Recommended!

05-19-2007, 02:19 AM
I'm actually really enjoying the band Audio Adrenaline. They've been around for years and I've kinda liked them for a while, but I got the chance to see their final farewell concert and I was blown away. Anyways, check 'em out. You won't ever get to see them live, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy their music :D

05-19-2007, 03:28 AM
M Ward is always an artist I return to, currently am learning the song "psalm" by him.

I've been listening to the soundtrack for the cancelled show "Firefly," and the movie follow-up, "Serenity" - I'm heading up the music department for an online fan show based on the series, called "Into the Black."

05-19-2007, 08:11 AM
Last thing I used my Zune for was to watch King of Queens and Becker (God bless Zune TV Watcher). And hey, since the 24th is my birthday, I feel luck is on my side. I'll tell you where to send it on Thursday. =)

Did they keep making music after the 80's? I've heard rumors, but have never actually heard newer music.

I'm currently listening to Ted Nugent stuff trying to get ready for his upcoming concert next month here in good ol' Houston.

I've been using an iPod Mini (the FIRST generation they ever made) and would like to update to something that has more storage and more usability.

Listening to Wings for Marie and title track of 10,000 days by Tool. I truly love this band... Lots of diverse musical tastes in here. I'm surprised actually as I've never heard of some of the bands people have mentioned. I think it would be cool if we all posted a link to information about the band so we can all discover a bit of new music. I know some already have..

http://www.last.fm/music/Tool/10%2C000+Days give it a listen!!

05-20-2007, 02:12 PM

Ever since getting my black zune (wanted a white but couldn't find one) back in December I've been listening to a lot of new music that I never would have found before. Currently I'm really hooked on Masterplan, I just can't seem to get enough of those guys.

05-20-2007, 10:50 PM
My favorite band and song? It's got to be Halcyon by Orbital.. for now anyway. :D

05-21-2007, 12:51 AM
Listening to Puddle of Mudd - She hates me. Lately though I've been on an early 70's music kick with Jethro Tull, Sammy Johns. Carole King, tec.

05-21-2007, 01:18 AM
Somehow i have only just now really discovered the Decemberists, but have also rediscovered Cursive's The Ugly Organ (which is probably one of my favorite albums ever).

05-21-2007, 02:53 AM
I've been listening to Kings of Leon's song Charmer. Its quite good and I think it would be worth some of your time.

05-21-2007, 02:58 AM

05-21-2007, 04:07 AM
I feel a little guilty to say it, but I'm enjoying Gwen Stefani's newer album, The Sweet Escape. It's very catchy.

05-21-2007, 04:34 AM
Lately I have been listening to Linken Park with my 13 year old son. He is passionate about their Minutes to Midnight cd, so I am getting real aquainted with it. I love being able to share the passion of musical expression with my kids that range from today to country.
Have a great one!

05-21-2007, 04:47 AM
i have been listening to alot of incubus...i have gone through their new album and now listening to S.I.E.N.C.E. i like it.

05-21-2007, 05:53 AM
Dream Theater is the band that i am quite obsessed with at the moment. The great thing about them is that they are a progressive band hence they venture into different genres throughout songs and it never ever gets boring :D

05-21-2007, 01:23 PM
I don't have a Zune yet, but I am in the market. I am currently listening heavily to Stan Ridgway's latest Drywall Album, Barbecue Babylon. My favorite song is Bold Marauder, which sounds like an updated sea chantey.

Thanks for the opportunity to win a Zune!

05-21-2007, 06:03 PM
... and so my special Zune song is "Star Spangled Banner" by J H ...

05-21-2007, 11:21 PM

05-21-2007, 11:42 PM
Listening to the Beastie Boys awesome Hello Nasty album. My bro had it for the longest, finally got around to rounding up his CD's and burning 'em to my PC. Can't get enough of it! Gotta hunt down the Fatboy Slim version of 'Body Movin' though. Body Movin' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WcnTxcqcNEE Intergalactic! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDS83yrM30Y

05-22-2007, 12:30 AM
I listen to SaRa when I want something mellow to groove with, and Gossip when I want to rock out. Gossip is big in the UK but for some reason hasn't made to big of a splash here.

05-22-2007, 06:07 AM

One of the greatest albums ever.

05-22-2007, 08:53 AM
I found the greatest band looking at zuneinsider.com the other day... The Stereo Future made a great track called Wasteland, so I had to have it, naturally.

It's a fantastic track. Google it or something, but find it somehow.

05-22-2007, 02:28 PM
I am listening to Goldfrapp's Supernature album these days. :D

05-22-2007, 08:54 PM

05-22-2007, 08:58 PM
The one and only - Queen - and the song "Under Pressure" :)

05-22-2007, 08:58 PM
Been enjoying the new Linkin Park CD. I really like the "Bleed it out" song.

05-22-2007, 09:03 PM
I actually bought a Zune when it was new and was just really unhappy with it. Since then they've made some updates that have apparently fixed the issues I had with it... would be fun to play around with it again, but you know. Good luck to every one.

In answer to the actual question, I've been listening to a lot of "Baby 81" by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Just an absolutely excellent rock album. I loved their last album ("Howl"), but it turned a lot of people off... a lot more mellow, more Americana based. This is more like their old stuff, but I think "Howl" helped mature their sound.

Very recommended.

05-22-2007, 11:48 PM
This will probably get me boo'ed more than it would win me a Zune, but I can't get that dang new Maroon 5 song out of my head. Not only is it everywhere... I... kind of like it.

05-23-2007, 12:51 AM
I have been a Zune skeptic, but since my brother mentioned that he might be getting one (since his iPod was stolen), I keep thinking how cool it would be to use "social" functions of the Zune with him (swapping songs and pictures). So here I go.

I've been loving a band called Arcade Fire. I recently discovered them on eMusic.com (http://www.emusic.com) and after listening to their album Funeral, I had to get everything else they put out. I've given their albums a couple of listens in just the past week. Great stuff.

05-23-2007, 02:53 AM
I'm enjoying Matt Redman right now... sure would love to enjoy him on a Zune!!

05-23-2007, 07:44 AM
Led Zeppelin - Black Dog

05-23-2007, 12:56 PM
Thanks to the 14-days pass I discovered a lot of new music for me, including Rush. I cannot get enough of "Moving Pictures" because every single track is wonderful. This is also an excellent thread to discover what other people are listening and so I can try it myself.

I'm currently listening to Chevelle's newest album Vena Sera.

The album is really growing on me and I think it's a bit different from their other albums.

Hopefully I'll be listening to it on a Zune soon and not a beaten up G1 Nano :-)
