Here at Macworld, Sling Media is doing its darnedest to take the spotlight away from the looming Apple keynote by announcing that said app is almost ready for consumption. It'll be demonstrating a functional version in San Francisco, and it's planning to submit the software to Apple for certification sometime this quarter."</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1231332250.usr18053.jpg" /></p><p>This is something I've been waiting for since I got my first gen iPhone in 2007. The Slingbox is an awesome device and Sling has done an amazing job of getting the software out for a really large swath of devices, so we shouldn't really be surprised that they're going to come through on the iPhone; with that many users, it would be a missed opportunity of epic proportions if they didn't!
