Much as I would like to be optimistic I'm not holding out much hope for anything really positive coming for WM in this keynote. I'm thinking the best that would be announced is WM 6.1.4 with PIE6 being hyped despite already being panned then it will be on to the usual Office, Windows announcements. Would like to be wrong but I doubt it.

efjay, you might very well be right about any major WM updates. However, I have a feeling we're going to hear alot about Windows Live...which also runs on Windows Mobile. It is already been leaked that Microsoft has reached a deal with Verizon on Windows Live Search. As for me, I'm keeping my fingers crossed and expectations low.

well, hopefully they will announce Zune marketplace is going completely DRM free.
converting your library will only cost you 1 meeellion Microsoft points.

well, hopefully they will announce Zune marketplace is going completely DRM free.
I'm not sure if that would be much news considering they have been going down that path for awhile now. Zune Pass content will not be DRM free, nor should it. I'd love to see them expand Zune Pass to include some video content.

I'd love to see the Zune Marketplace to offer more songs in the MP3 format. It would seem that some record labels don't offer their songs in that format. I would also welcome a better advanced search features for the Zune Marketplace. Want to find a song title that include a word, phrase or someone's name than it finds that word, phrase, name anywhere within the metadata NOT just within the title. For example, search for a song title that has the name David and you'll get search results of every song that the David Matthews Band ever recorded.
