Firewire 800 to 9 pin 400 adaptor

Anyone have experience with adapters for the new MBPs? I have a couple firewire devices that I do not want to replace cables. It seems to make the most sense to get one adapter.

I don't, but I will say that I saw some adapters on Amazon that cost as much as the new cables cost me on New Egg. Needless to say, I just bought the new cables!

I ordered the new cables but feel that the adapter would have been cheaper if someone had it in stock.
