Soon a new feature in iDisk will make it simple to share files too big for email. iDisk will automatically send a message with a simple link. The recipient will just click the link to download the file."</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1230922199.usr18053.jpg" style="border: 1px solid #d2d2bb;" /></p><p>Aside from being a bit pricy, I've always liked MobileMe / .Mac.&nbsp; I only really use it for Back to my Mac and to synchronize contacts with my iPhone but it's still worth it even just for that, at least for me.&nbsp; Being able to e-mail big files will be a nice feature to have, also, if you're into that sort of thing.&nbsp; It's not revolutionary, but if you've bought into the ecosystem, it's handy nonetheless.</p>

We have a family plan and, at this point, my daughter is using the me.com mail address as her primary e-mail (though she's more reachable by Facebook and text message, really), and I use it to sync my Macs. When I get an iPhone I'll probably be using Mobile Me to sync with it rather than Google now with my WM phone. I was using iDisk syncing, but that truly stinks, and I switched instead to DropBox for now.

I get all sorts of trouble with keychains that reappear after I delete them, and Dsahboard applets that do the same. Calendars, contacts, mail, Safari bookmarks seem to sync well, though. The Mobile Me team still has plenty of perfecting left to do.

MobileMe has been great so far and like you Vincent I only use it to sync my iPhone and Outlook on my laptop. File sharing would be fantastic not to mention a long awaited feature. I hope Apple continues to add features as the $99.00 price tag is a bit on the high side for many and is hard to justify such minimal features.
