Greetings

I did search prior posts - - didn't find this one, but if it's out there, please point me in the right direction. Otherwise, please continue this thread.
.
Recently got the ATT Tilt (HTC, Windows Mobile 6.1) and bluetooth paired it with my home PC (Winblows Pister SP1). Got it to Sync just fine - - then paired it with my car (08 Prius) for hands free operation. Seemed to work just great - - never any problems in the car. BUT - - when I try to reconnect to my PC after it has connected to the car, the Tilt won't find the PC any more.
.
Initially had some success shutting off the Tilt bluetooth radio, then turning it back on, but lately I've had to reset the Tilt before bluetooth will reconnect with the home PC. This is a real pain in the butt ! I've also had some luck by re-establishing the pairing - this is a bigger pain than poking the reset button:mad::mad:!
.
I should only have to tap the wireless manager and select Active Sync, then Connect by Bluetooth. But after the auto-connect in the car, it won't connect to the PC any more.
.
My PC is located about 50 feet from the car, and the car's bluetooth shuts down when the car is off - - so shouldn't be any residual connection there. Is there anything else I should be doing before trying to reconnect / resynch the Tilt with the PC?? Has anyone seen or solved similar problems with a bluetooth earpiece??
.
Thanks

Merlin :cool:Not knowing the Tilt's BT version, I'm not sure my advice will be of any help but...
Older BT stacks could only connect to one device at a time. Later revisions allow multi simultaeneous pairings.
For older versions, you had to disconnect the first pairing by going into the BT manager & stopping it or more bluntly by shutting the BT radio down/ resetting.
On newer, I've connected to a PC, Headset, GPS at the same time...forcing the headset to lag or jamming the phone... :D
See if you can find out what model/ OS version/ BT stack/ radio revision you have. It may be possible (small possibility) that a update was released with a newer stack.

I might not be right but I seem to think so...The Tilt is OLDer?

Thanks for the reply.
Bluetooth version is listed as 2.0/2.0+EDR.
ROM version is 3.57.502.2 WWE (WinMobile 6.1)
ROM date is 07/17/08
Radio Version is 1.65.21.18
Protocol Version is 25.88.40.05H
Model: Kaiser; Platform: PocketPC
WinMobile 6.1 Pro build 19214.1.0.4
.
I have tried setting "Flight Mode" to shut off the bluetooth radio, then turn it back on. Occasionally that would clear the jam, but recently I've had to use the stylus to poke the reset button. Reconnects with the PC instantly.
