What situations has your Pocket PC survived?

If you look in the top of my tank bag, right in front of my face, you can see my Axim x51v. It worked great for mp3s, despite the vibration, weather and magnetivity coming from the magnetic tank bag. Don't worry, I didn't try to find WiFi on the move.

What extreme situations have you put your Windows Mobile device in?

Well, my Axim hiked up & down the Grand Canyon with us (or actually Down & then Back up!), although am not certain how "extreme" that was...

OTOH, SAT on my Visor Platinum - at church, no less - and managed to CRACK the screen, rendering it all but useless :o... (Surprisingly could still manage a SYNC connection, as cradle automatically put unit into Sync mode.)

Of course, that accident DID allow purchase of the Axim, so there was a silver lining! ;)

(One of first purchases FOR the Axim was a Rhino Skin hard case!)

Someone dropped my old HP rx3115 onto the asphalt at church when I first got it. Amazingly, It barely nicked it. Worked fine until I sold it for buy the x51v.
