I've made two posts so far, and Vinny has responded to them!, but I'm not seeing my own posts in-line in the threads. That's not the intended behavior, is it?

As a measure of protection against spammers, the very first post someone makes is held for moderation. Once that post is approved (and we check the posts held for moderation 4+ times a day), their account is elevated to full posting status within the hour, after which no posts are held. I realize it's a bit of a hassle, but so far it's allowed us to keep our forums 99.999% spam free - which is something that benefits everyone more than the initial hassle of not seeing their post right away.
