Help Needed

ok, so after a big thing with my comp i ended up having to do a sytem recovery, whcih deleted all my files,im running windows vista home premeium and have reinstalled my zune software thinking that it would place all my music picture and videos back on to my computer, where i wan them, but it didnt, can someone help me, i want a copy of everything which is on my zune on to my computer.
please help
PS is there any news of the une becoming a Plug and Play device?
