They did this with the Motorola RAZR for years and now they are doing it once again to the Motorola Q9 Global. The only difference between every other time that Motorola has done this and today is that I actually like this new handset! Sure it is the same exact Motorola Q9 variant we have all grown to know and love but now it is up to date with the latest version of Microsoft's mobile platform - Windows Mobile 6.1 - and the new silver and pinstripe design is actually pretty snazzy. Mix this together with the already incredibly QWERT keyboard, 1.3MP camera, aGPS, Opera browser and Documents To Go and you have yourself one incredibly powerful device in a tiny sleek form factor. Thumbs up to Motorola! :mad:Well, all us BJII owners can kiss the WM 6.1 update farewell till 2009 I think. AT&T's leaked 'roadmap' said it was due in July '08, which is long gone already, but ther's no way they will roll it out until they have wrung every last 'early adopter' $ out of this new(ish) Q

Although a copy of the instructions for installing the update via a Vista computer was briefly in the wild, I suspect that we are out of luck for several more months :(

Yeah, I have a Samsung Blackjack II Windows Mobile 6.1 news post ready to go live any minute, the only problem is Samsung pulled the update almost immediately after posting it so the links are dead. Right now we're just playing the waiting game. I am refreshing the browser constantly waiting for the ball to drop so I can post a link on the front page. :D
