Having recently signed up for the moderately more acceptable Rogers 6GB/mo for $30 plan, I find myself looking for software to install on my WinMo device to make use of it.

So I'm looking for suggestions as to what good software is out there that I can get which'll help me get the most of my phone now that I've joined the rest of the world with ubiquitous internet access?

So far, I've got:
1) Email checking (no push as of yet, but polls every 30 minutes works for me)
2) Weather
3) Google Maps (no GPS, and cell tower triangulation doesn't appear to work!)
4) Opera 9.5 Mobile Beta

Is there anything that I'm missing out on? I'm located in Canada so any US centric applications are a dead issue for me.

Many thanks!

Well, my must-haves include:

SPB Software's Pocket Plus
Codewallet Pro - DeveloperOne
Calligrapher - Phatware
TapText - Dinarsoft
MemMaid - Dinarsoft
PocketBible - Laridian
Resco File Explorer

And, whatever types of games you seem to like. I've got some great Crossword and board games.

Hey, I have an application to recommend.

It`s called iSS Essentials. It has applications that vastly improve PPC usability, as well as including 2 games (freecell and minesweeper)! It`s commercial, but the trial is full-featured and lasts at least a week.

Tell me what you think of it!

Some great suggestions. Thanks!

Looks like I might get the newest version of SPB Pocket Plus, and TapText.

iSS Essentials is tempting, but a large part of it is already handled by SPB Pocket Plus, and WkTask (Free!).

Calligrapher... I hardly write at all anymore, so while I remember it fondly back in the days of my Vadem Clio, it's not as useful for me.

One question about CodeWallet, I really don't have quite that many things I need to remember of what it seems like it shown in CodeWallet. Meaning CC numbers, pin codes, etc. Is there something I'm missing that it really helps with?

Is there something I'm missing that it really helps with?

I use Codewallet for:

Web site passwords (over 200)
Credit card info for easy pasting into online purchase fields
E-Mail settings that I always forget when things go flooey
Family library card numbers
Family social security numbers
Software keys for anything I've purchased/registered
Frequent traveller numbers and PINs
Vehicle identification numbers

You'd be surprised how much you have to remember when you lose it or forget it :D

If you are looking for something along the lines of free. There is
a program called keePass, which is similar to code wallet and
E-wallet. Its very nice and comes with a password generator.
Its very secure and likes you to use passwords, but it free and
well made..Comes with a desktop client to sync them up.
