Been trying to tweak my Q9h, but ever since I switched to Vista..whyyy, whyyy, whyyyyyyyy... I've had to deal with annoying 'message sent' pop ups (I used to be able to implement the fix from here... http://mike.temporale.com/archive/2007/10/04/646.aspx... and to tweak the At&T 'preinstalled crap' from here.... http://blogs.lanlogic.net/blogs/tom/archive/2007/12/05/motorola-q9h-customizations.aspx (http://blogs.lanlogic.net/blogs/tom/archive/2007/12/05/motorola-q9h-customizations.aspxhttp://blogs.lanlogic.net/blogs/tom/archive/2007/12/05/motorola-q9h-customizations.aspx)... but alas the workaround will not work for me nor will Vista give me permission to make changes, although I'm admin and all the right buttons have been pushed. ANY IDEAS??

Thanks nerd brothers

I'm a bit confused. Are you actually after a registry editor for Windows Mobile or Windows Vista?

If it's Windows Mobile, I recommend Total Commander (http://www.ghisler.com/ce.htm). It bypasses just about all of the annoying security prompts you may come across if you use another registry editor.

If it's Windows Vista, simply use the built-in regedit.exe (Start > Run > regedit.exe). You may need to customize the Start menu in order to see the Run command.
