I personally love the ability to change profiles based on the appointment category. When in full schedule swing (during the fall and spring), I have many appointments that require different profile settings. When I'm going to a seminar, I want the phone muted (So I have a "Mute Phone" category), however when I'm teaching, vibrating alarms are better, so I can be sneaky and check messages during a pause in my lecture.
