In fact, MAGIX has thrown everything but the kitchen sink into the Plus version. It’s not all rosy though, and we were disappointed by the two weighty - and off-putting - paper manuals and the long-winded installation process; the latter is due to the fact that the main program is accompanied by a number of additional bundled programs, including a photo editor and a program for compiling music playlists that you can use as soundtracks for your video projects. And while the interface looks great, it isn’t as slick or intuitive as its competitors. Sort out these few annoyances and MAGIX could be onto a winner in the next version. However, for now we recommend you stick to Adobe’s Premiere Elements, unless you’re on a really tight budget."

Decent quality video editing software is now becoming fairly common. On the plus side this is resulting in some fairly low cost options, on the minus side sometimes you get what you pay for. Check out this brief review of this value oriented video software.

It has a pretty impressive list of features:

Anything that has a direct YouTube upload feature is cool in my books - I use that feature so much in Premiere Elements!
