The Duo 2 -- model number C820, naturally -- is said to feature a rounded black case that recalls the look of Motorola's old MPx200 and clocks in with dimensions very close to those of the HTC Vox."

So do you own the first version of the Pantech Duo? Do you like it? What would you change? Maybe the change you'd make will be in the Pantech Duo 2. Some of the readers over at Engadget Mobile are frustrated that it has a proprietary charge. I have to admit that it is kind of annoying. I'd prefer all new devices to come with the mini usb charge but unlike the Dash, give it a separate standard headphone jack. Is this your next smartphone or are you going to bypass it?

Sorry to post on a unrelated topic here... Then again, according to this very page (http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/news/show/88951/pantech-duo-2-c820-in-the-works-for-at-t.html) on the the Pantech Duo 2, I'm told that "Source Naturals St. Johns Positive Thoughts Tablets" are indeed a directly-related subject, so I guess it's o.k. to post about it here.

I read Jason's frustrated previous post about these Chitika folks, but c'mon! I get enough "Low Cost Meds" and "Grow Your Member" spam in my inbox. I don't want to be hit up for this crap when I visit Smartphone Thoughts.

This is a first-rate site. I know it takes advertisers to keep it running, and that doesn't bother me a bit. The Pontiac add at the top of the forum page is great, and I don't even mind the "Related Products" bit at the bottom of each posting. As a matter of fact I often browse them on this and other sites. But to allow Chitika to pawn herbal products of questionable source, quality, and usefulness in a "Related Products" portion of an article about the next generation Pantech Duo is way below what I've come to expect from this site.

I filter junk like Chitika is pawning from my inbox. I'd hate to have to "filter" Smartphone Thoughts from my daily viewing. The bottom line is there are lots of places online to get the same techie info. Smartphone thoughts (and PPC Thoughts) have been among the best, but I feel like I've been looking in the window of a nice NY city gadget store when a guy in a trench coat comes along and asks me if I want to see he selection of "Rolex" watches. I think I'll quit looking in the window and move along.
