iPaq 900 In FCC Certification

Expanded storage comes courtesy of a microSD slot and a 1840 mAh battery will ensure you're good to go for a full day's work. No information on if or when it would be available in the US, though - the 600 series of course never made it due to potential legal issues, and FCC certification is typically done irregardless of retail availability. Is this iPaq on anybody's wishlist?

I am considering the iPAQ 900. It depends on what Palm does with the Treo 750. I still haven't gotten a response on Palm's official blog (despite 2 questions that I have posted) if there will be an upgrade beyond Windows Mobile 6.0 for the Treo 750.

I wouldn't expect a response from Palm. Their official blog is mainly there for, well, propaganda purposes. I also wouldn't expect an upgrade to WM6.1, since the 750 is an aging unit, and due to be replaced soon.

I just wrote a letter to Mark Hurd that HP is no longer on my wishlist at all. I've been extremely frustrated with their products of late. Never an upgrade on OS, tech support - no chance. I have an HW6945 that I spend most of the day doing a soft reset. I have a HP camera that I can drink a cup of coffee waiting for the shutter to open and close.

For all the same reasons as above...HP just doesn't cut it anymore...
Specs look inpressive on paper, but still hardly a match for my already one year old TyTN II...

For all the same reasons as already mentioned... no upgrades, bad supp, etc...
HP has left the arena before, and it's seems they're not fit to return.
On paper specs look impressive (if it ever reaches market this year), but still hardly a match for my trusty TyTN II that's nearing it's 1 year birthday...

I also have an HP 6900 series, and it has been one of the PDAs that has worked well and maintained my interest the longest. It has been extremely stable for me (albeit somewhat slow). I have owned 3 other HPs in the past, and they have all been great units despite HPs policy of abandoning their devices once sold. I will be considering the new HP when it comes out, but I too am interested in the Palm 800w--spec wise, the HP seems to have the advantage.

Once broken the confidence, it is very hard to recover it back.

In HP's case, its unwilling or lack of interest in updating WM on their flagship PDAs and smartphones (I have a Hx4700) has made them more harm than they think.

They left us alone and this is unexcusable.

I will go for HTC.

No, as has already been said, no upgrades and poor support and additionally no T-Mobile AWS support. I will be getting the Velocity 111 if it matches expectations when released.

When the 200 was initially advertised in the UK, they put different specs on their main web site introduction page, but when i tried to buy it, it took me to the ordinary 200 page.

However, this is the one I want! Integrated GPS - exactly what my hx4700 is missing. I have saved the web page as i did not believe it. When I emailed HP they did not answer.
