Without revealing specifics, Stephenson described possible scenarios that are being discussed, such as enabling Zune users to download music over Wi-Fi in public hot spots or to sync with their PC-based music collections while at home."

This information comes from Zune's marketing director Chris Stephenson in a Computerworld article yesterday. He just adds some fuel to the fire of the possible upcoming announcements. If you remember, we reported last week that there supposed to be an announcement today regarding the Zune. I suppose we could just wait a few hours to find out what they'll actually say but that's not any fun.

With all of the anticipation for the possible announcements, Microsoft really does need to have some good stuff soon or I think there will be a lot of disappointed people out there. Since a lot of this comes from confirmed official sources I feel very comfortable about what we'll see.
