I could definitely use the VideoStudio Editor to modify the videos of my little girl's first steps. Use the DVD Authoring feature to create DVDs for her grandparents to watch her first steps.

Ability to edit HD video is the feature most interesting to me.

Thank you Thoughts Team.

For me it is being able to work with hd material and create AVCHD discs.

Most interesting feature is a toss-up between the Video Filters and the MPEG Optimizer, with its "Pause" option.

I really like the ability to create movie style openings. I think that would make the DVD look great!

"Multiple overlay tracks and expanding time"

Killer feature for me when working on "weeklys" version of movies/commercials.

Excellent option

The wizard for quick jobs. The higher end editing features for more complex projects.

Embedding subtitles in home movies (bilingual family with mono-lingual relatives on either side) would be great.

Ability to edit HD video would be the most useful... my dad's thinking about getting an HD camcorder, but has held off owing to the potential difficulties of editing the footage.

I would like to say VideoStudio Editor ... but I know that we'd more frequently use Movie Wizard to produce great looking photo slideshow DVD's!

The DV-to-DVD wizard looks promising :) I've got lots of HD footage just sitting around that I'd like to make DVDs out of.
