This product would be awesome if I could use it to transmit the sound from my satellite radio signal on the main level of the house to my workstation in my basement (where I work, and there is no signal).

This would be great for sharing music from my laptop when on our snowboarding holiday with my brother and his girlfriend in the room next door!

For years I have wanted to have a computer on my living TV/Stereo to be able to listen to all my digital music. That way I can put away the CDs once and for all. But, I've been holding out until I get a digital TV one day so I can also stream video and what not. This would be the perfect solution to get me by until I get that digital TV (which won't be anytime soon). I could just stream the music to my stereo from my home office computer without the need of a whole PC hooked up in the living room. Awesome! I might think about buying one of these... if I don't win one that is. ;)

THIS would solve my dilema of all my music being in the house and none in my garage, where i work most of the day. I could FINALLY stop investing in crappy book-shelf systems that die before their time.

This would be an excellent solution for getting all the audio files stored on my computer to play in our backyard on some larger powered speakers! :)

This is a great solution for connecting my laptop to my living room surround sound. Then I can still roam with the laptop but still hear my music through some decent speakers.

Thanks DHT and AudioEngine!!

Seems like a great way to get a greater variety of Music into basement work room - or possibly to add powered Surround Speakers to living room without having to run wires all over the place....

My PC is in my bedroom. It has all my music on it. My hi-fi is in my living room with only a retro CD player. This product sounds like the perfect solution. :)

I'd definitely use this to play music on my laptop and tower onto my home stereo that is across the house; That would be so fantastic. I've been trying to figure out how I was going to do this as it was (short of putting in a media centre box).

Great hardware!

I would use this to get audio from my PC to my drum setup to make for a much better practice time. I'd also use it to pipe music out to my garage.

Eliminating the wire going to my sub. Unless I could get this to work to make my Rockband drums wireless on my PS3 . . .

it would help me put my stereo to better use, instead of the cheesy fm transmitter.

I wonder what the radius is, but I would love to use this to stream music from a pc in my office to the stereo in the living room.

I have older Radio Shack wireless speakers to get music to secondary speakers in the front of my new wine store. When cars (Cops and people with radar jammers) drive by - horrible interference occurs. Can't afford to replace them - would love to try this solution. Audio comes from my computer to the main speakers.

I could put my Xbox 360 speakers somewhere else. The 360 even has a USB port to power the transmitter.

It would be handy on the laptop in the car too.

This sounds just like the sort of device I'm looking for which would allow me to replace my wireless audio streaming system to my bedroom.

I listen to audiobooks before I go to bed, and I have a large library stored on my main computer. However, desktop computer and bedroom is not good for sleep or other harmonious bedroom activities, so I've set up a private shoutcast station and use a spare WiFi PDA to stream to my bedroom. (Sorry, WinMo media players just weren't designed for this kind of thing. None work well for me.) The only problem is that there's about 5 points of faillures and lots to manage/monitor to make sure the whole setup works.

This would help me simplify my setup greatly!

I have a multi-room receiver in my home and have speakers throughout the house--but I never put speakers on my deck. I'd use this to finally add speakers to my deck.

This would be so cool to take the wires off my subwoofer OR to take the wiring from my mac Mini to my AVR.

I have been looking for a solution like this for a while. Thanks Digital Thoughts!

This sounds great! We currently have a Logitech wireless audio solution in our home that we use to listen to music or messages in the kitchen. Unfortunately, there is some static and the microwave really messes up the signal. If this works as it claims, I would gladly replace the Logitech unit with this one. Thanks!

I'd definitely use it to send music from my computer to other places in my house. It's easy to move around, so there would be a lot of different uses.

I'd love to have this to connect to some powered speakers I could take outside when I'm working in the yard or even in the garage. I'd have the other end hooked to my PC and enjoy hours of music while working around the house.

This might just be a possible alternative to the Squeezebox I've had my eye on, since I only want to stream music without needing to cart my laptop around (and the external drive with my music on it...).

In our new house we have a secondary family room in the basement. I would use a 2.1 powered speaker set and drive it from my laptop in another room so we could *always* have cool tunes!

I think the best use for me would be to plug in a game console. I like to use my 24" Dell LCD monitor to play games, but since there's no sound input on the thing, I've got nowhere to plug in the audio cables. Going with a wireless setup would be infinitely preferable.

Great! In my last house the patio was off the living room and I wired up outside speakers. In my current house the patio is FAR from the living room (weird, I know) and if I want to listen to music while enjoying a cigar or working (mainly cigars) I have to ipod it. I'll be able to stream Pandora, listen to the ballgame and get the 150GB of music from my computer.

Oh wow- Spring time, and the ability to broadcast the music wirelessly from the computer inside to speakers outside? Awesome!
