How remote? If you mean nearby, but without wires, then you should be able to run Activesync over Bluetooth (though I'm currently failing to to do this myself). If you mean *really* remote then I believe that there are remote desktop-like solutions (logmein springs to mind) which should do the job - but that is a connection not a synchronisation. Activesync will no longer support true IP connections via WiFi.

thanks Martin , yeah I mean "remote" as in connecting my ppc from home to my pc at work via the internet.

Then see if LogMeIn will work for you. It's free, so you can't really go wrong with it. Get it here: https://secure.logmein.com/home.asp

I'm sorry - you've gone further than me now. I recalled discussions about LogMeIn and similar software a while back on PPCT, but I never needed the functionality myself so I haven't installed it.

Menneisyys - one of the gurus that bless the WM world - made a few relevant comments about LogMeIn in this post (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=56418&highlight=logmein), and he has also written a 'bible' covering this sort of software here (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=1571&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1) which should be very helpful, particularly in getting LogMeIn to work with WM6.

Does anyone else want to jump in here with some suggestions for tytnrob?
