<i>"Dasur Pattern Recognition Ltd.'s breakthrough pattern recognition SlideIt and ThumbKey software revolutionizes mobile text input. SlideIt, is an intuitive method to input text on touch screen enabled devices. Instead of tapping each letter, with SlideIt users simply point to first letter of a word and slide the stylus to the subsequent letters. Spacing is achieved by just lifting the stylus. Speeds of more than 50 words per minute are easily achievable. The ThumbKey™ keyboard looks like any other small touch-screen keyboard but it is significantly more efficient and easier to use. ThumbKey™ is optimized for use when typing with one or two thumbs, similar to the way many users operate the BlackBerry."</i><br /><br /><b>SlideIt</b><br /><br /><object width="350" height="292"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/7XJodxC1GQs&rel=0&color1=0xd6d6d6&color2=0xf0f0f0&border=0"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/7XJodxC1GQs&rel=0&color1=0xd6d6d6&color2=0xf0f0f0&border=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="350" height="292"></embed></object><br /><br /><b>ThumbKey</b><br /><br /><object width="350" height="292"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/R653tPaGyGY&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/R653tPaGyGY&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="350" height="292"></embed></object><br /><br />It seems over the past few months, we've had a SIP explosion. Adding to the options are <a href="http://www.mobiletextinput.com/Product/SlideIT/SlideIT.php">SlideIt</a> and <a href="http://www.mobiletextinput.com/Product/ThumbKey/ThumbKey.php">ThumbKey</a>. Interestingly, these two come with quite a pedigree. According to their website, these two "<i>are the results of 30 years of research in advanced pattern recognition by Dr. Daniel Suraqui</i>". That's quite an R&amp;D cycle! The pricing for SlideIt will be US$40 and ThumbKey will be US$25 and both are now available for purchase later. Until then, head over to their <a href="http://www.mobiletextinput.com/download.php">download page</a> for a trial version.[/code]

I use SlidIt since 3 month ago on my HTC Touch.
He runs perfectly even if i write a long word like "unfortunatelly" (a little bit slow to appear because of procesor of the Touch)
The dictionnary works good too. You type a word, after you tape the U symbol and on the "Floppy" symbol to register a new word.
I'm fench so when i want to write english word, i must sometimes save its in the dictionnary.

Try it, i think you will like it. Don' t need a lot of time to use SlideIt fully.

:? after 5 minutes to get used to and learn the features.
So simple to use. :D :D
The first keyboard easy and fun to use.
I will certainly return to use my PDA for writing (as I dreamed when I bought it ) and not only when I have no choice
