As far as I know Opera mini is free, Opera mobile costs money.

Correct OM4 is free, but mini is $25 or so (US). When I first tried OM4 I could not understand all the buzz about it. I must have tried it 4 times thinking "I must be missing something." Then on try 5 or so I used OM with the jbed midlet manager rather than the midlet manager in my rom. Wow! I was hooked. I know love OM. My only gripe is that every now and then OM tosses all the cookies and I have to do my logins all over again. :( I'd be happy to pay for OM if they could fix that. :)

yea I guess I can cough up the money because I truly like that program but I much rather see what else is out there before I jump and purchase it. I want to make sure I have an alternative to IE so if there is anything else than Opera Mini post it here so we all can find out.

Unfortunately both Opera browsers start with the letter "M" so just to clarify the Mini is located here and is free http://www.operamini.com/ and Mobile is located here http://www.opera.com/buy/?show=mobile and is $24

If it is Opera Mobile that you eventually land on, you might want to hold off. They are working on version 9 and I don't think there is a public beta yet. Nor do I know their upgrade policy, but both are worth checking into before you layout any cash. Have you read the Mobile Web Browser Bible (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=54656&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0)?
