As I have decided to install vehicle tracking tools into all of my vehicles I want to know what is the difference between vehicle tracking unit and vehicle tracking system. Can any one please answer my query?

I would expect specifics are dependent on the specific product you are looking at, but..

I would think a unit is a device used to track an individual vehicle. Could likely download to a PC or something.

A system would be a bunch of vehicle mounted units and software designed to track a fleet of vehicles.
