I have a Siemens SX66 phone that now has a broken screen. The screens touch doesn't work anymore, so I can't get into the phone. I do have a backup file of my contacts on a SD flash card.
Is there a windows program I can use on a PC to see the files/contacts? I do not want to buy a new screen just yet.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

1. welcome to PPCT :)

2. AFAIK the SX66 also has the standard HTC Xbackup. You're lucky because I've written a contact restore tool for Xbackup; see http://www.pocketpcmag.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=16922

Thanks for the reply.
Sure do appreciate you taking the time.
After extracting the backup file everything seems to be extracted. But, I don't see any kind of contact folder or file.
I did change the folder options to show hidden files. Still nothing related to contacts except a file called Contacts.DEF located in the "IA Caller ID Photo" folder.
Where would the contacts file be located?

Am missing something?

Thanks again.

Unfortunately, my tool will only extract files, not databases. (Sorry for misreading your question; I've mixed it up with my contacts restorer tool I've written for ActiveSync (not xBackup) backup - see http://pocketpcmag.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=18858 ).

Right now, after doing a serious forum search at XDA-Devs, I don't know of any solution except finding someone with a pre-WM5 PPC PE device with xBackup and ask him to restore your stuff and, then, backup . export them with PIM Backup.

For example, at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=269889 , a guy called Carty promised to do this task for free - you might want to contact him.
