hi there, i have just purchased tomtom 5.21 i think... of my mate.. i have installed the package from my SD etc, and have set it up..

I know my phone has a built in GPS but how do i link it with TomTom???

In the GPS menu in tomtom there are options for
Tomtom bluetooth reciever
Other bluetooth devices.. etc..

but no option for built in Gps?

Don't know where to set it on TomTom but the GPS in the Tytn produces data on COM 4 at 9600 Bps. I have the ATT Tilt, which should be essentially the same device, and have been pretty impressed by the GPS. I'm using Mapopolis and a couple of online things that can read GPS data, Windows Live Search and Virtual Earth Mobile.

Set up the GPS as 'OTHER NEMA GPS RECIEVER" and COM4, it will work just fine then.
