I'm curious to try out some drawing/painting software that works on WM 6, and supports VGA devices at full resolution.
Specifically, I'm interested in art creation, not photo editing. Something more like Alias Sketchbook or Painter and less like Photoshop.
Any recommendations?

Give Mobile Painting a try. It has a VGA version for download and is free. The original website is here: http://nefastudio.net/cafe.cgi?=software (including VGA version download link). An English translation is available here: http://www.freewareppc.com/graphics/mobileatelier.shtml

I'm a big fan of pocket artist. It has a lot of the features from photoshop, but it is realy intuitive to draw with. I like to take it out and make sketches whenever I have free time. I'll zoom out first, so even though I have a qvga screen my drawings can be high res.
I've been using Pocket Artist too, although I must admit I get most graphics work done on the PC.
