Active Sync Tasks with Exchange

I had to hard reset my WM5 phone and have spent the last day or so gradually putting everything back the way it was.

Something doesn't seem the same though. Before I did the reset, if I added or changed a task on my PC or my phone, active synch would update the other at the next exchange sync. I never needed to connect the phone to the PC unless I wanted to sync my notes.

Now, the task list is like the notes, it wants to sync with the PC rather than the exchange server, and there seems no way to make it sync with the server instead.

Am I doing something wrong, or am I just crazy?

OK, I just deleted the server and the sync relationship from both pc and pda, and re-created them. This time the server went straight ahead and offered to sync tasks for me.

Don't know why it was wrong to start with, or why I couldn't change the settings without starting from scratch, but that has done the job.
