Does anyone know if there's a way to find out what app is causing my PPC to turn on active sync and try to connect?
I recently did a hard reset and installed the following apps. Since then, active sync is frequently on when I turn on my device with the notification "unable to connect".
Installed apps:
SBSH: PocketBreeze, PocketWeather, iLauncher, MyList, ContactBreeze
MemMaid
Resco Explorer
Resco Registry
Wisbar Advance 2
Fitaly
Spb Insight
HandyShopper (on card)
Chronos
Pocket Bible (on card)
SuperCalendar
apMemo (on card)
psShutXP (on card)
+ several assorted games installed on the Storage Card
The only two apps(that I'm aware of) that require an internet connection are PocketWeather and Insight. I have checked the settings on both of these, but haven't found anything to indicate that either one would be automatically trying to connect.
I am running WM2003 on an HP4150.
One other thing I've noticed is that when I power off my device with the power button the screen there is still a faint glow on the screen. If I use ShutXP to power off I don't have the problem. 8O
Thanks,
John
