Now it took some time for Toshiba to release its first Windows Mobile Pocket PC after a longer period of absence but with Windows Mobile 6 Professional, triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE (900/1800/1900 MHz) and singleband UMTS/HSDPA (2100 MHz) it's still state of the art, even if it's not a world traveler like the HTC Hermes which supports quadband 2G and triband 3G. Nevertheless, the QWERTY keyboard, the powerful 520 MHz Marvell PXA270 processor and a unique 3" WVGA touch screen at 800 x 480 pixels makes the device quite interesting."

If you haven't had your fill of Portege G900 reviews, Arne at theunwired.net has now had the chance to put his thoughts on the device down. While the review largely covers ground that others have touched on before, another perspective always helps when making that wallet-busting decision . So, if the G900 is on your wishlist, just mosey on over for a closer look.

This seems indeed a great PPC, but sadly, besides the HP HW99XX and maybe one other, there are no phone-enabled PPCs which have an internal GPS and do not have built-in cameras.

There is a large number of companies which do no not allow employees to have any sort of camera-enabled device on their premises.

Goldkey sounds like a great security feature.

Or a nightmare lurking to catch you out :-)
