Hi guys,
I have been testing email synchronisation software lately on my Pocket PC (an O2 Orbit). I started with the built in Active sync and quickly realised it's limitations. It's slow, full of bugs and you don't seem to get any support with the software. So I checked the internet for alternatives.
There were a few push email applications out there, but most of the applications either were painfully slow, crashed my device or came with no support. I did in the end find one app that stood out though. Its called Always-On Mail and is distributed by a company call Work out of office. It was easy to install - I downloaded a free trial from:
http://www.workoutofoffice.com/software/internet_edition/
and got it up and running in a few mins and was then syncing my personal email with PDA.
Anyway, I would certainly recomend it over Activesync.
If anyone else has any thoughts on this software or any similar apps, then I would be happy to hear about them.
Richard
