Hi,
I have a couple conferences to attend in the next few weeks, and there's always a good amount of down time between sessions, etc.

What "5 minute", "never get tired of it" games would anyone recommend?
I really like puzzle games, but I'll take a look at any games that you PPC Thoughts people think are great.

Thanks in advance,
John

I personally like Bejeweled 2 for the PPC, or Triad is a good puzzle game as well. I also enjoy "Comet Defense" which is an older freeware game in the style of Missle Command. There is also "Gamebox Classics" and Mahjong. You can download the demos on my site: Legacy Handhelds (http://www.legacyhandhelds.com). There's a bunch of other good games to try out there as well.

Take care,

I played Sudoko... Don't remember who's, but that filled some time. I've also been reading a lot of eBooks, using the uBooks reader.

BinaryFish offers a crossword puzzle in AcrossLite format, so you'll always be able to find free puzzles to download.

If you like playing old console games, get a decent emulator (there are MANY excellent emulators out there and the majority of them are free) and the ROM images of your cartridges you still have.

Many (belated) thanks for the suggestions. The console game idea seemed a little complicated to me, and I haven't had any game cartridges since the first generation nintendo days -- grad school sort of ended my console game playing. Sherman Tank's post led me to astraware, where I wound up purchasing Zuma. THAT is one addictive game!!
