Hi all,

I've been both a palm and pocket pc user in the past, and have fallen out of touch with the device market as of late. I would like to find out what device I can get to meet my device preferences.

My device preferences, in order of priority from highest importance to lowest are:

Screen: VGA
WiFi: Yes
RAM: 64+
ROM: 64+
Speed: preferably 600MHz+
Expansion: SD, possibly CF
Phone: preferably not -- I'm not a "converged" person. :)

Is there a device in the US market that meets these needs given that HP and Dell both seem to no longer provide one?

Thanks!

Kevin

Have you looked at this review of the Advantage?

Nothing says you must use it as a phone, and for those wanting VGA, it's got to be the premiere device!

That HTC 7501 is an interesting device... Looks to pack nearly every feature inside it. :) I think it would be a bit big for my liking (I didn't list it... I would like to keep similar to "normal" pocket pc profile, such as the HP 4700 and Dell Axim 50/51 series did with their vga devices).

Ultimately, i think the main use of this device would be to use with Pocket Artist to take my photo-shopping on the road with me when the laptop just isn't practical/feasible. Hence the VGA screen.

Are there even any more "normal" Pocket PCs that come with VGA anymore? I'm not finding much in my searches. :(

Thanks again,

Kevin

Well, there's the Loox N560, if you're willing to get a slightly older device, with WM5.

And there's the Toshiba Portege G900, which is WVGA.
