Angel of Death

I have been using Intellisync (now a Nokia owned product) for quite some time. It is great (when it works) since I can filter stuff in a way no other sync tool I have seen can do.
I want to keep all appointments (business and private) on my work computer and on my mobile, but on my private Outlook I only want private appointments. The computer back home serves as the family message center, and we don't want work related stuff to clutter up the calendar (with all those reminders and stuff).
At work I use ActiveSync (4.2) to sync the Outlook Calendar, Tasks and Contacts to my mobile (HTC TyTN WM5). That way I have all buiness meetings, tasks and contacts on my mobile. At home I use Intellisync to sync the same items, but apply a filter. All appointments, contacts and tasks created on the home computer are tagged with the "Private" category. The filter only syncs items of that category. So any new private appointments created on either the mobile or the home computer are synced both ways, leaving all business related items on the mobile. It is truly great.
I guess I could be using Intellisync to filter out private stuff from the work computer, but with a daughter that requires many doctors' appointments every month, I want to make sure that private appointments block out time in the calendar, so no business meetings are planned at those occasions.
Now for the problem: Intellisync suddenly stopped recognising changes on the mobile. Any changes on the home computer Outlook falling under the "Private" category is updated on the mobile, but not the other way. This is driving me mad. I have set up new ActiveSync partnerships, removed the Intellisync partnership files, set up things from the beginning, everything short of a hard reset of the mobile (do not want to reinstall all those other programs and set up configurations for messaging, internet access and the like again). Anyone knows how to deal with this? I have contacted support and are awaiting an answer, but I wanted to see if anyone else has encountered this and have a quick solution. Any help greatly appreciated!
