What's more, the device is said to be really snappy with Windows Mobile 6 and a 400MHz Qualcomm MSM7200 core, picture quality from the camera is superb, and voice quality is apparently top notch. The conclusion? "It's quite simply awesome." Too bad it's also quite simply not available yet."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/hisham-20070702-modaco-kaiser-review.jpg" /><br /><br />While the review unit is a pre-production model, the prognosis is for a superb update to the Hermes. If you're on the fence for an upgrade, <a href="http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=256569">bookmark the review page</a> - it's going to be updated as the Kaiser gets closer to release.

Kaiser or G900 to replace Hermes?!! GAaaaaaaaaaaaah. High-res screen vs Slim design... I'm leaning towards the Kaiser.

This device could finally be a justified upgrade from my 8125. :D I can't wait!

My biggest (actually ONLY) complaint about the 8525 is that it has a lousy mic. It's entirely too sensitive to background noise making background noise deafening to a person on the other end of the call.

I'd love to find out if they improved this. I'd really like to get the Kaiser if the mic is better.

This is it. This will be my next device. More Ram, more ROM, 3 mega pixel camera, slide out keyboard, GPS, fast CPU. 8 mg SDHC card. After comparing the new toshiba which appears to have big compatibility problems, I am now set for this device.
