View Full Version : Disabling hardware buttons while playing music with Windows Media Player 10

Hello WMP users :-)

I use Windows Media Player (WMP) v10 as my MP3 player when I run (jogging of course). When I need to change the song volume or pause the music, I use the scroll wheel on my HTC P4000 (Titan/Mogul).

However, that only works if WMP is the active application. This is not always the case when I need to adjust my water belt. This sometimes causes my PDA to open another application as pressure is applied on one of the hardware buttons like the phone on the calendar.

I would like all hardware buttons to be DISABLED so that WMP always stays as the active application on top.

Two exceptions to this "rule": the scroll wheel must still enable me to increase, decrease the sound and pause the music. The close button (screen only-not hardware) should allow to terminate the application.

Do any of you know of a hack or a util to do this?

Tks
